Corona Pandemic

The Corona Pandemic is a major challenge for many Partners of Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World). Several international and ecumenical organizations have compiled resources and established important websites (see attached list) where FBOs can identify and get hold of selected resources for coping with the medical, pastoral, educational, political and social consequences of the Pandemic.

The cross-project evaluation assessed the community development interventions of 18 projects in Georgia. The projects, implemented by various partners and supported by Brot für die Welt, covered community development activities between 2016 and 2022. One focus of this evaluation was to assess the effects through collaborations. Therefore, the evaluation also assessed the feasibility of a "Lighthouse Project," a collaborative community development project in Georgia. One of the most important recommendations for Bread for the World and its partner organizations is to improve cooperation between actors by supporting or implementing such a project.

The evaluation, conducted in 2019, identified key areas and factors of success and achievements of the project and assessed to what extent the interventions undertaken contributed to the achievement of the project objective.
