The Job Scope
You work in the ‘Projects and Programmes’ team at FHDO and are responsible for the following in detail:
- Advice on the integration of risk management
- Technical support on climate justice and loss & damage as well as strategic planning
- Creation of an internal training plan for the ACT Forum Argentina on humanitarian issues
- Development of didactic and information material
- Support for emergency aid and prevention measures at community level
- Advising on the regular review of the emergency preparedness and response plan
Your Profile
- Relevant university degree
- Several years of professional experience in disaster prevention & relief
- Knowledge of youth and adult education
- Experience in strategic planning and evaluation a
- Experience in the field of adapted technologies desirable
- Business fluent in Spanish, and English or German
- Systematic way of working and conceptual skills
Citizenship of a Member State of the European Union or Switzerland is required.
