Professional for Risk Management, Disaster Prevention & Emergency Aid (f/m/x) in the Rio de la Plata Region

The Job Scope

You work in the ‘Projects and Programmes’ team at FHDO and are responsible for the following in detail:

• Advice on the integration of risk management
• Technical support on climate justice and loss & damage as well as strategic planning
• Creation of an internal training plan for the ACT Forum Argentina on humanitarian issues
• Development of didactic and information material   
• Support for emergency aid and prevention measures at community level
• Advising on the regular review of the emergency preparedness and response plan

Your Profile

• Relevant university degree
• Several years of professional experience in disaster prevention & relief
• Knowledge of youth and adult education
• Experience in strategic planning and evaluation a
• Experience in the field of adapted technologies desirable
• Business fluent in Spanish, and English or German
• Systematic way of working and conceptual skills

Citizenship of a Member State of the European Union or Switzerland is required.
