As a professional, you will support partner organizations in systematically expanding their competencies in results-oriented planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (PMEL).

The Job Scope

  • Analyzing the needs and existing knowledge in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, and IT-supported data collection
  • Designing, organizing and conducting needs-based trainings, workshops, and individual coaching sessions on monitoring systems, impact measurement, and reporting in Vietnam and Laos
  • Advising and supporting in the development, application, and further development of PMEL systems as well as in the presentation of results and impacts
  • Supporting partner organizations in the introduction and use of storytelling methods and good practice examples for effective public relations work
  • Together with the VEST team you will evaluate the partner organisation’s reporting, identify training needs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the programs

Your Profile

  • a university degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences or development cooperation
  • solid experience in the development and application of monitoring and evaluation systems (PMEL)
  • enjoy organising and conducting trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions and have a broad repertoire of participatory methods
  • excellent English skills
  • open to intensively learn the Vietnamese language
  • able to respond flexibly and solution-oriented to unexpected situations
  • high level of intercultural sensitivity and experience, preferably in Southeast Asia

Citizenship of a Member State of the European Union or Switzerland is required.
