Hope and Resilience in the Fight for Climate Justice (by oikos-institut, WSCF, VEM & Brot für die Welt Jugend): In this international online networking event we meet with young people from many countries. Apurba Dhakal from Nepal speaks about colonialism and climate migration. The Student Christian Movement in Finland and Norway presents their advocacy for Indigenous Sámi rights and against a destructive copper mining project in Repparfjord, Sápmi.
In breakout sessions we will share our experiences, find inspiration, and connect with others committed to climate justice. Let’s come together across regions and languages to lift up stories of hope and resilience. The event will be held bilingually (English/Spanish).
